Repairing cracks and seams in roofing

You have been enjoying your flat roof for years, but suddenly you have moisture problems. After all these years the roofing has dried out completely and cracks have appeared or seams have come loose.

Don't panic, you don't have to renew your roof right away. With WP7-301 Roofing Waterproof you can easily fill and reinforce these cracks and seams yourself. Discover here how to get started.

Step 1: Preparation

  • Free the substrate from dirt, loose particles and hardened bitumen.

  • If necessary, remove snow and/or ice.

Step 2: Sealing the crack or seam

  • Apply WP7-301 with a brush or spatula.

  • If necessary, apply an extra reinforcement fabric in the corners.

  • Smoothen transitions.

  • Finish with Tec7 Cleaner.
