Instructions
Surface preparation
- Make the surface dust-free.
- Sand smooth materials (grit 120).
- Degrease with Tec7 Cleaner and/or Multiclean and allow to dry.
Pattern preparation
- Remove the cap from the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge in the gun.
- Pump until both components come out of the cartridge evenly.
- Place the mixer tip on the cartridge.
Usage
- Spray the first 2 cm of product onto a piece of cardboard, do not use.
- Apply evenly to or into the materials to be bonded or filled.
- The ideal adhesive thickness for optimal strength is 0.5–1 mm.
- After an interruption of +/- 3 minutes: insert a new mixer tip.
- Clean spilled glue with Tec7 Cleaner and/or Powerwipes.
- Always perform an adhesion test when using on unknown materials.
Storage
- Leave the mixer tip installed until next use. 2K-Fix is reusable for up to 6 months in this way.
- When reusing: remove the old mixer tip, clean the nozzle openings and insert a new mixer tip.
Tips:
- Always use 2K-Fix on a dry surface. Higher temperatures mean faster curing.
- Heat the pieces and/or the tube of 2K-Fix to a maximum of 50°C.
- Use Tec7 Anchor for powerful anchoring in drill holes.
